My work is informed by personal engagements with my local landscape. Using natural fibers and plants I practice slow processes such as dyeing, weaving, spinning and stitching to celebrate regionality and craft. My works are grounded in humble materials such as linen and wool, while simultaneously leaning heavily on science and experiment-informed decision making. I create my fiber artworks while quietly dancing between the relationship of textile tradition, tactile knowledge and contemporary experiences.
